Interest groups

BICYCLE MAINTENANCE GROUP

Alan Baker (imshedbikes@gmail.com) – learn, practise and teach correct bicycle maintenance including set-up, tuning and repairs; priority is members' bikes, but we also have an outreach program where we repair/tune (depending on condition) donated bikes. All members and bikes welcome.

BOOK CLUB

Garth Forster (IMSbibliophiles@gmail.com) - there are set books for discussion, although every fourth meeting has no set book and members talk about two or three books they have read and enjoyed.

COMPUTERS

Burt Beasley (burt.beasley@indroshed.org.au) - WiFi internet, printer and several PCs available.

COFFEE AND CHAT AND DISCUSSION GROUP

Every Tuesday at 10am there is an informal ‘Coffee & Chat’ session and alternate Thursdays at 10am there is a discussion group.

METALWORKING

Learn how to use machine tools such as lathe and end mill. Learn how to weld and make things in metal. Rob Webb (8rwebb@gmail.com)

WALKING GROUP

The Outdoor Walking Group meets three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. These 5km walks start at 6.30am and finish about 7.30am during the winter/spring months, but operate from 6.00am to about 7.00am during the warmer months. Partners and dogs are welcome. There is also at 8am on Tuesdays and Thursdays a group that goes ‘Walking in the Shopping Centre’
