Come learn how to do computer aided design (CAD) and turn ideas into reality. In this group you will be able to design a part and print in 2 professional 3D printers. There is also a 3D scanner where you can take existing items and turn them into reality. This group love to share ideas and help each other with making items. All members and ideas welcome.

Our 3D Printing club consists of numerous Men’s Shed members from local and other clubs. Design work can happen any time so you can work when suits you or come in during social hours and have a drink and biscuit or two.

Learn design principles for CAD and how to construct parts in Viacad Software.
How to use Bamboo Labs 3D printers including choice of material to use for job, loading of reels, printing a design.
How to setup the 3D Scanner and scan items to turn into digital files
How to use a 3D print file and convert to a CAD design for modification.
